party plan resources
Does anyone know a good website that helps plan high end bachelor parties for you?

I want to throw my best friend a crazy bachelor party, but just don’t have the time or resources to do it myself. Any recommendations would be a big help, thanks!

I used this company for my best friend’s bachelor party we had in Las Vegas. They were helpful and had all the connections that I would have never figured out how to find, let alone deal with all the time it takes to do it. I forgot the guys name we used, but here is their link:

Good luck!

how to get party plan bookings
Can anyone tell me how I go about silver jewellery party planning?

Hi Everyone,
I own a jewellery website which I’ve just started marketing in my local newspaper and had no response at all and believe that perhaps I targeted the market blindly or competion is fierce.

I have now decided to go into party planning where people actually
see and feel the products and I will also sell watches and handbags.

I have spoken to a ann summers party planner which is always taking bookings for parties and is keen to sell my products.

I will also get other party planners involved in this.

Can anyone out there give me some advice on this matter and how I go about party planning?

Thank you very much

Hmm – Local Newspapers never had much response with this medium.

Jewellery has become a very competitive market – just look at the number of shopping channels selling Jewellery direct into peoples homes.

Like the sound of the Silver Jewellery Parties though – what with Christmas on the horizon! Your not alone in using Parties as method to market Jewellery though, just type “jewellery parties” into google.

Two ways you could approach this either as a franchise have people host your Silver Jewellery Parties, paid for on a commission basis or rewarded with free Jewellery for sales of a certain level.

Or you could run them yourself initially, to get an idea of how they work.

Research your local area looking for households that can afford your product. Maybe even Retirement homes where people can’t get out a lot.

Create an event that’s fun, around a theme – Silver Jewellery for the Party Season – for instance.

Once your ready post a flyer through the doors of your target market (Make sure the flyer looks the part) either inviting them along to your party or inviting them to host their own.

Anyway maybe others will give you some further ideas.

Below are a couple of websites offering similar.

Good luck

party planning tips
Do you have any Christmas party planning tips?

I’m planning a Christmas party for the youth at my church. I need some tips on affordable and whimsical decorations. I was thinking about buying some of those styrofoam cones and decorating them with wrapped candies as table centerpieces.
One aspect of the party that I don’t have to worry about it food. The parents of the children will be preparing dishes, bringing party platters, and bringing drinks. I guess my biggest concern is trying to make this the most memorable and magical party for them.
What kind of entertainment or games or crafts should I have?
Should I have some kind of party favor?

Please help!

Hi !!
Have lots of glitter and mabey get the kids to make snowflakes !!
You can get someone to dress up as santa and hand out sweets!! kids love that!! you could also do a treasure hunt and hide some chocolate bells and chocolate Santa’s! have karaoke!!

Some not christmas games but still fun games:
lighthouse : you have all the lights turned off and one person is on he / she is holding a torch and they have their eyes closed . everyone else has a cup of water . they try creep up on the person without getting hit by the light. you should probably play this at the end!!
