Many brides will tell you that the idea of planning a wedding is much more fun than the actual practice of it. This is supposed to be the happiest day of your life; the day you look the most beautiful and carefree. A bride cannot look and feel her best if she is preoccupied with details that go awry before the big day. The only preoccupation a bride should have is having the most memorable experience possible!

Consider the following ideas to help keep your planning as stress free as possible.

First and foremost, the most important detail to planning a wedding is creating a checklist. It is much easier to manage planning when you see everything that you need to conquer and what you need to delegate. And delegating is key! Every bride thinks that just because it is her day, she needs to be involved in every aspect from start to finish. Use your resources and do it early! If you start early and run into a roadblock, you are already ahead of schedule.

Involve your best friend to help pick out dresses or assemble favors. Include your future sister or mother-in-law with centerpiece designs. The more you are able to involve people with your thoughts, the more you are able to steer them in a direction and free your hands of it. If you are able to work it into your budget, hire a professional planner. If not, search the Internet for deals or talk to married friends and share contacts.

Or, take your checklist and head out to a bridal show-one stop wedding shopping. You can find everything you need from music to favors, to invitations and table linens. Take your bridal party, divvy up the list giving everyone a specific aspect of the wedding and meet up with ideas at the end of the day.
