Please Help With Planning Some Party Food………?

I Need Some Ideas For Planning Food (Drinks (Non Alcoholic)Dinner And Dessert) For A Grandparents Day Party I Want To Have For 8. Any Suggestions Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

A Grandparents Party. What a nice gesture!

I am sure that they can not handle a lot of the spicy foods as most older folks can not. Here is my suggestion:

Salad:
A romaine lettuce salad with what ever extras you would like. I usually set out a mini salad bar. I put out black olives, chopped mushrooms, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes that sort of thing. I also put out homemade Cranberry Salad Dressing. It is simple and goes well with anything. Simple to make:
2 cans of whole cranberry sauce, no the jellied
¼ cup of olive oil
½ cup of red vinegar give or take to taste
2 tablespoons of sugar again more or less to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Put it in a blender and pulse it until it is the consistency you like.

Main Dish:
Chicken Breast;

Get some boneless chicken breast, remove the skin if you wish.

Take 3 cups of Captain Crunch
2 cups of Corn Flakes
1 cup of rice flour, regular flour is fine
2 teaspoons of salt (more or less to taste)
1 teaspoons of pepper (more or less to taste)
Put in blender and blend until it is a fine consistency.

Make an egg wash and drench the chicken pieces then roll in the dry mixture.
Fry until brown and the juices are clear.

Side dishes:
Garlic Mashed potatoes and gravy
Green Bean Casserole

Dessert:
Since it is a special occasion and it is being given for people who are as wonderful as Grandparents I would make them a white cake. I have Princess Diana’s TRUE wedding cake recipe it is easy but long anyone that wants it can e-mail me at movingthestarz@yahoo.com and I will be happy to pass it along. Let the kids if they are old enough, decorate the cake for them.

Have a wonderful party!

ok so i already asked a question about this situation, and it helped a bit… but it would help if you could flat out write what to do. my party is in a few days and i am a last Minuet person. i got the decor, i just need food ideas and some party games. i had an idea of a candy/treasure hunt thing that involves going up to neighbors asking them if they have items, and notes hidden That lead to the treasure- which i planed to be a pinata. this is a planning thing for all u smart out there , surprise me what u come up with. answer quickly!!!
also thank u for helping me. o and just so u know im 13.

First you need Dry ice you can find in phone book or a good grocery store. You add to poweraid, koolaid, applejuice.Nothing already carbonated the ice does it for you the smoke is so cool no matter what age. Then you need to go to Get some teeth and put in watermelon.Put teeth close enought to hold in candy or fresh fruit it makes a cool display. And dont forget to use some in pumpkins they are the hit of the party!! since they are not in stores yet! Then play pass spagetti for intestines and small hard boiled eggs for eyes etc. While you tell a scary story in the dark.My mom did this when we were kids and 30 yrs later i still remeber!Good luck and happy halloween….Order soon we ship same day!!so theres still time….bob

party plan expert
need alcohol/party expert for college graduation party!! please help!?

I am hosting a party at my house for about 30 people… It’s a college graduation party and I know everyone is planning on getting drunk…
I’m not a big drinker myself so I was wondering about how much I should plan on spending ….and what types and the quantity of alcohol I should get
I want enough so I don’t have to make a beer run in the middle of the night…

thank you=]

kegs is the way to go, more than 1 though, if they like to drink that thing will be gone quick, so at least 2 of them.

I simply need some sort of a website with great goth party ideas, but my main thing is food!
I can’t seem to come across any goth-related type foods.

I would be eternally grateful if anyone could do either for me!

party plan food
What are all the things you need to do to plan a party like food, and what else?

I want to plan a party but I was wondering what else there is like food, where, when, etc.

First, the guest list. Then depending on the size of the party, you’ll need to plan where it’ll be held that can accommodate your crowd. Then there’s food and servicewear (plates, napkins and such ) and drinks and glassware. Then plan the music.

People, food, drinks, music–that’s a party.
